Privacy Policy – Skoll Wallet
Last updated: March 16, 2026
1. Introduction
Skoll Wallet ("the App") is operated by Skoll Wallet. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and protect information when you use our application. Skoll Wallet is a non-custodial wallet: we do not have access to your private keys, funds or transactions. Your privacy is fundamental to us.
2. Information we do NOT collect
Due to the non-custodial design of Skoll Wallet, we never collect or store:
- •Private keys or seed phrases.
- •Information about your funds or balances.
- •Details of your blockchain transactions.
- •Any data that would allow access to your wallet.
Fundamental principle
Your private keys are generated and stored exclusively on your device. We never transmit, store or have access to them. Without your seed phrase or private key, we cannot recover your wallet or access your assets.
3. Information we may collect
To improve the App and provide support, we may collect limited, non-identifying information:
- •Anonymous usage data (e.g., most used features, technical errors) to improve the experience.
- •Emails and messages you send us when contacting support.
- •Diagnostic information in case of application failures (without sensitive personal data).
- •Language preferences and app settings stored locally on your device.
4. Device permissions
The application may request access to your device's camera for features such as scanning QR codes when sending or receiving cryptocurrencies. This permission is used only when you activate the corresponding feature. Captured images are processed locally on your device to read the QR code and are not stored, transmitted or shared with us or third parties. You can deny or revoke the permission at any time from your device settings.
5. Use of information
The information we collect is used exclusively to:
- Improve the functionality, security and user experience of the App.
- Respond to your inquiries and provide technical assistance.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse or vulnerabilities.
- Comply with legal obligations when necessary.
6. Public information on blockchain
Blockchain transactions are public by nature. Any address you use to send or receive cryptocurrencies may be visible on blockchain explorers. Skoll Wallet does not control nor can hide this information. By using the App, you accept that:
- •Blockchain addresses and transactions are publicly visible.
- •Swap operations may involve third-party services that process transaction data.
- •Crypto buy/sell providers may require additional information according to their policy.
7. Storage and security
We do not store sensitive personal data on our servers. The information we collect for support or analytics is protected with appropriate technical and organizational measures. Your private keys remain exclusively on your device, using the operating system's secure storage.
8. Your rights
Under applicable legislation, you may exercise the following rights regarding the data we do collect:
- •Request access to the data we hold about you.
- •Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- •Request deletion of your personal data.
- •Object to the processing of your data in certain cases.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
If Skoll Wallet includes a web version or associated site, we may use cookies or similar technologies to improve the experience. These are not used to track your wallet activity or access sensitive information. You can configure your browser to reject cookies if you prefer.
10. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or our official channels. Continued use of the App after changes are published implies acceptance of the updated policy. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
